I love long weekends. Jim and I took Friday off, which means we have an even longer weekend to relax and enjoy ourselves. We’ve been relaxing, cleaning, catching up on things we’ve let go over the past few weeks; we’ve still not done any landscaping, but that’s why June will keep us busy. Tomorrow, we will be christening our boat on one of the local lakes. We decided to share the event with friends we met through Connor’s soccer team. Picnics by the lake, boating, friends, sunny weather, holiday weekends – that is the perfect way to relax.

Unfortunately, Armchair BEA kept me so busy this week that I was unable to finish any books until today. I’m hoping to make up for that on Monday. I’m having a blast playing with my nook. It is so nice to be able to pull it out whenever I am facing a long line or a longish waiting period. It makes me smile just taking it out of my purse! Hello, my name is Michelle and I am seriously addicted to reading and getting books (electronic or otherwise). Because I have so many, I let my son pick my next book today. His choice? The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I’ll be using that choice for my final Random Reading Challenge selection. Once I finish, it is another challenge finished. Yay for me!
