Most of my readers know that I am constantly changing my blog. I am slowly working towards branding it completely with Twitter, Goodreads, and LibraryThing. One of the things I have never really liked is my blog title. I created it on the spur of the moment, before I realized how quickly blogging would become vitally important to me. I personally feel it is too long. I would love to shorten it to something catchy but something that fits me. When I look up the word “Masterful”, it can mean condescending and conceited. That is totally not what I want to convey. The word “Musings” is too popular. I love the alliteration but think it is such a mouthful.
So, I’m throwing this out to you guys. The blogging world contains some of the most creative people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. For those long-time followers, I would love to hear your ideas! Please leave a comment, tweet me, send me an e-mail – just send me your ideas! Who knows? There may be a surprise for the one with the winning “entry”!

Thanks! I am very excited!
Glad to hear that you went with That's What She Read…great title and good luck with the change.
That's actually a great title for a blog – especially given the subject matter! I think you should be proud of that!
BTW, I did go with "That's What She Read"!
Pretty new blog!! I like it!
A friend of mine suggested "That's What She Said", but the address is taken. Jen from Devourer of Books then suggested "That's What She Read", which I do like. Not as much as the first suggestion, but the address is available…
Yeah, I've given up on the M theme. A friend of mine suggested "That's What She Said" which I love, but the web address is already taken. I'm trying to figure out how to make it work…
No! I like your blog name! It's friendly and you!
Thanks, Roland! Michelle's Mumbled Mutterings is pretty cute. It probably wouldn't attract many readers though. What do you think?
That is a tough one if you really want to keep the M theme.
Well you definitely don't want to ask me!! I have the lamest blog name ever! 🙂
My recent post 5 Impressions from BookExpo America
I just created my new writing blog last night. Here is what I did to come up with the title. I looked up writing quotes by authors I admired. When I came across a short phrase from that quote that I liked for the title, I googled it to make sure no one else was using it. It took three tries, but I finally found one that I really liked and no one else was using. So you could find some reading quotes you like and do the same thing. Here is the url for my new blog, if you want to see what I did with the title: http://thestoryinsideme.blogspot.com/
Good luck…I know you'll come up with something. Although having the awesome name Michelle in your title is pretty cool. I'm not biased or anything…LOL!

I actually like your title. It beats Michelle's Mumbled Mutterings.
"MICHELLE REFLECTS."
Do you want to leave your name out : READING PEOPLE & BOOKS.
MICHELLE'S MEMORIES IN THE MAKING.
You must go with your instincts. Pick a name that will cause the browser to pause then stop to read.
