Thoughts on books, family, and life in one impressive package.
Armchair BEA Button

One of the benefits of Armchair BEA is that we do not have to worry about the logistics and timing of attending certain events.  No where is this advantage most apparent than with author signings.  The schedule of author signings is intimidating in its length and impressive in the list of available authors.  If I were actually in NYC, there is no way I would be able to get signatures from everyone I want.  However, because time is not an issue (nor the stress of standing on my feet for hours on end just for a signature), I pretend that I am doing just that!

For whom would I be willing to stand in line?  My list includes the following, as well as the times they will be available that day:

Wednesday, May 26th –
    9:30 AM – 10:30 AM       Brunonia Barry
    10:00 AM – 11:00 AM     Justin Cronin
    10:00 AM – 11:00 AM     Adriana Trigiani
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM     Sarah, Duchess of York
    11:00 AM – 11:30 AM     James Dashner
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM         Gail Carson Levine
    3:00 PM – 4:00 PM         Richelle Mead
    4:00 PM – 5:00 PM         Melissa Marr

Thursday, May 27th –
    11:00 AM – 12:00 PM    Sandra Boynton
    2:30 PM – 3:00 PM        Beth Kephart

Whew.  My legs are tired just thinking about that standing.  But it would be worth it for some of those signatures!

Who’s on your wish list?
