By Thursdays, I’m pretty much tapped out mentally and physically; it happens every week. It’s all I can do to get home and get ready for bed. But, I had to share a few tidbits that literally tickled my fancy today.
First of all, a huge congratulations and shout-out to Stephanie from Stephanie’s Confessions of a Book-a-Holic. She’s celebrating15 years of married bliss to her hubby today. In today’s world, that is a feat worth applauding. Love ya, girl! I hope you are able to carve out some alone time with your hubby this weekend to celebrate!!
I found this article at work today: Nuisance Or Nutrient? Kudzu Shows Promise As A Dietary Supplement If you’ve ever driven south, you’ve seen kudzu at its worst. It looks like ivy but is slowly killing southern vegetation and has no known natural predators. If studies prove this to be true, that could be a very good thing for the South and for mankind!
Because I love you all and know how much you can’t wait to hear the latest about anything related to New Moon or the Twilight Saga in general, Summit is busy filming Eclipse as I type this. It is slated to be released in late spring/early summer 2010. From what I’ve been reading, it is set to be darker, gorier and more action-packed than what may appear on the printed page. This latest article about the Newborn Army only whets the appetite but definitely leaves me wanting more! Between the New Moon trailers and now this, Chris Weitz and David Slade are doing wonders for the Twilight Saga on the big screen!!
Lastly, an even bigger shout-out and heartfelt congratulations to my friends Janice and Lex on the birth of their son, Ryan. He was born last Friday and unfortunately has been in and out of the hospital since then due to severe jaundice. Hopefully, he’s on the mend and is home for good. (I went and saw him last Saturday in the hospital. Mom looked amazing, Dad looked radiant and baby Ryan was freaking adorable. One of the cutest newborns I’ve ever seen.) In an effort to help speed her recovery and help her beat those baby blues, I figured she could use a little visual pick-me-up. Janice, this one’s for you!
