I just heard the first radio-released song from their new album, The Resistance, entitled “Uprising”. OMG. Holly came in while I was listening to it, and immediately picked up that it was the same singer as her favorite song, “Starlight” (also a Muse song). Then she proceeded to rock out, as I did I. If this first song is any indication of the rest of the album, it is going to be a LONG wait until September 15th, when is when they officially release the album and an even longer wait until October when Jim and I see them in concert!!!
Speaking of concerts, they will be making their American TV debut on the MTV Video Music Awards the week before the album drops. I will definitely be watching it this year.
