DID NOT FINISH:
Based on Goodreads comments and reviews, people really enjoy this one. The mental strain of having to figure out who was speaking at any given time and the lack of action made this a snooze fest for me. I suspect it was just the case of the wrong book at the wrong time.

Oh man, is Bonfire of the Vanities really coming to an end? It’s been a long time coming!
I think so. The characters are just so awful. I grew so tired of hearing about the Irish or the WASPs or the Jews. And here we have a wealthy white man vilified and essentially hung out to dry, even though he was innocent. Totally the opposite of #blacklivesmatter. It was all a bit too much for me.
Quiet reading weeks happening. I wouldn’t stress about it!
They do, but they don’t always happen to me. So when they do, I tend to freak out a bit. LOL!
