Updating my challenge page to add the RIP VII event this year, I noticed that unbeknownst to me, I finished the Chunkster Challenge for the year. I must say that I am surprised because I was not selecting books based on page numbers and figured I would fall short this year. I am relieved to find that I continue to enjoy lengthy books. I could continue to keep tracking of the chunksters I read during the rest of the year, but that would be for my own edification. I set out to accomplish what I wanted to accomplish, and that’s all there is to it.
Here’s what I read to complete this challenge:
- A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness (579 pages)
- The Search by Nora Roberts (488 pages)
- My Lost Daughter by Nancy Taylor Rosenberg (488 pages)
- The Pursuit of Happiness by Douglas Kennedy (592 pages)
- The Technologists by Matthew Pearl (496 pages)
- The Unseen by Katherine Webb (468 pages)
How are you doing with your challenges this year?
