The Sunday Salon - October 30, 2011

Things in the Shannon household have definitely been exciting. Jim has been sick for the entire week. Connor brought home a report card with a GPA of 4.0. The US and Irish anti-trust authorities approved the sale of the company, so the ink on the final sales contract should be dry by November 30th. And more importantly, we will have a new family member next week.

Do I look like a Heidi, Daisy, or Belle? My Mommy can't decide.

She's a pure-bred basset hound, eight weeks old. We'll be picking her up on Friday after work. And then the fun really begins. My heart hasn't been the same since we lost Cullen, so it will be good to have a young pup in the house again, especially one who is calm and likes to cuddle.

While I am no longer finishing a book and reviewing it the very next day, I am not as far ahead as I would like. I better get reading because I have a feeling that next weekend will be the end of reading for a while. ;-)
